The architectural practice of Hely Horne Perry Architects P/L (HHPA) has a history of continuous and uninterrupted trading, extending back to the establishment of the founding company by Bert Hely in 1950.
Since that time the company has expanded and produced a wide range of major and medium scale projects in a variety of fields. Major contributions were made in the development of innovative designs and development strategies, which have had significant influence in such areas as shopping centre design, office buildings, multiplex cinemas, medium and high density housing and retirement living.
Projects undertaken by the practice over this time have involved a broad range of complexity and size, from small residential and commercial alterations through to major retail/commercial CBD high rise projects in excess of $150 million construction value.
The approach to design is always tailored to our client's requirements with a strong commitment to cutting edge, sustainable and cost effective buildings.
The diversity of the practice has enabled projects to be undertaken interstate, with significant projects also successfully completed in Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Queensland and Western Australia.
The services offered by HHPA are valuable to every stage of a development and include master planning, feasibility and cost planning, architectural sketch design, presentation drawings and images, design development and construction documentation, contract administration and on-site involvement.
The practice has been successful in receiving industry awards including the Principal Architectural Award from the NSW Chapter of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, the Sulman Award.
